The Pan/tilt unit is built around 2 nema34 stepmotors with 2 Stepcontrollers.
The resolution is 100000 steps pr. revolutions.
The lower part can turn without any limits in any direction.
The black cylinder in the middel is an 12pole electrical coupling that transfer the power to the stepmotor and limit switch signals is returned to the microcontroller.
There is also 220V AC transfered in the coupling to power an extension unit that is mounted in the lower tilt bracket.The lower tilt motor can pull around 30NM in tilt force.
